Lighting is rarely about the fixture. It is about which corner of the room you want a guest’s eye to settle on. We help you decide, then specify the pieces that get you there.
materials
Materials we favour.
The three families we keep returning to — for the way they age, the way they hold heat, the way light falls through them.
Solid Brass
Hand-spun, sealed by hand, and built to age warmly over decades. We specify it with makers who still finish every piece on a lathe.
Alabaster
Carved from single blocks. The block itself is the diffuser — light glows through. We source ours from a handful of European workshops.
Mouth-blown Glass
Pulled from small kilns; no two diffusers identical. We work with studios in India and Czechia for the right hand and the right colour.
